How great it has been being a member of the USSA. I have had the greatest time with the hunts I have been involved in. Through the generosity of the USSA, I have taken a nice black bear from Wisconsin, a big Gobbler from Alabama, and a whitetail doe from Illinois. I know these trips would have been nearly impossible without the benefits of gracious supporters. After my massive stroke at age 2, (which left me with a paralysis on my right hand/arm), I enjoyed going with my father on deer hunts, but figured it would be a long shot for me to have the great opportunity of hunting for myself. Fortunately for me and many others like myself, the USSA caters to youth with handicap and difficulties. The volunteers go out of their way to support the efforts of those with dreams, just like mine. Not only have I had the opportunity of taking some nice game, but I have made a lot of great friends as well, that I continue to stay in touch with. I think Mrs. Brigid is an awesome person who has an awesome love for people. I thank her and everyone who has given of their time and effort to help others. Thanks again for making impossible dreams, overwhelming realities!
