My name is Brandie Peterson; I am an OTA for the Tomah school district. As a parent on the receiving end of a wish being granted for my son Austin, I feel truly honored to be part of this organization. My son Austin went fishing with a professional fisherman through this organization. His true enjoyment in life was fishing. Seeing the excitement & true bliss in his eyes when he caught his first Bass was a moment that will live forever in my heart. My son’s giving nature and compassion for others has been a big inspiration in my life. Austin went to heaven in June of 2008. Since his passing I have felt my life has needed something more. I assisted & headed up a project this past Christmas to provide gifts to families less fortunate. Through the USSA I feel that this has been exactly the path that God has laid before me. I know there is more that I feel I can offer this organization. I truly believe that USSA & the children can teach me so much more in life, as well as utilizing my talents to benefit this organization. I hope to bring compassion & inspiration to all that I meet.
