Captain Kyle Wogsland has been fishing Lake Michigan for over 12 years. He strives for safe and fun trips. Kyle is knowledgeable about what works to maximize the amount of fish caught every time he leaves the dock. Whether it’s reading the latest Great Lakes Angler magazine or surfing the internet for fishing reports, Kyle’s enthusiasm for salmon fishing is revealed with every action he takes.

The love of fishing came at a young age for Kyle. He spent many hours bonding with family members on the water and he sees every trip as a memory in the making. The Jenny Ann is named after his favorite fishing partner and wife. Together they enjoy everything from breathtaking sunrises to fishing in the dark.

Kyle's passion is to share the thrill of fishing Lake Michigan with as many people as possible. His favorite trip of the year is the annual trip he donates to www.childswish.com. He has been doing this since 2006. It is one of the events run by him out of Kewaunee, WI and definitely one of his favorites.

When not fishing, Kyle has a wonderful life at home with his young son Grant and lovely wife Jenny. They now share this with a yellow lab named Barkley. Kyle and family enjoy the outdoors together with everything from duck hunting to sporting clays to relaxing by the fire. The entire Wogsland family enjoys being involved with U.S.S.A.
