 My name is Perry Powell and I live in McKinney, TX with my wife of 19 years, Dee. My fishing all started when I was very young, about 7 years old. My grandpa taught me how to fish and really what the outdoors was all about. Since those days I have always had a passion for the water and bass fishing in particular. Almost every weekend you will find me either fishing a tournament or out just enjoying fishing for fun and relaxation.
I became familiar with the USSA in 2005 after taking an 8 year old from the organization Chris Foppiano and his dad Nick on a fishing trip. From that time on not only was I blessed to have fished with an angel, but I have gained an expanded family now as well. After that experience I have developed a passion to take young people from the USSA out fishing and enjoying the outdoors and all that it has to offer. Watching their faces light up when they feel the tug on the end of the line and seeing them carry that moment with them forever is priceless.
I have been blessed in my life to have 2 healthy children and a beautiful wife who helps me in my fishing adventures in any way that she can. I believe that we are all put here on this earth to look after each other and do what we can to help one another. I have found this to be a great organization to work with and I look forward to a long relationship with lots of smiles and fishing adventures to come.
